I would just like to make as much people aware of this because I think this information is not well known. The Maldives are the flattest pieces of land on earth and is extremely vulnerable to rising sea levels. Unfortunately, because of serious environmental problems that cause rising sea levels, there is a chance that the Maldives may lose about 3/4 or more of its land mass before the end of this century.
